Is there a deposit?

Yes! To secure your booking in my diary then a non refundable deposit is required.
This comes off the total session cost.

Is the cake included?

Yes! I have a baker who provides all the Cake Smash cakes and she can also accommodate intolerances so just let me know on booking if your little one has any!

 

What age is suitable?

This session is designed for first birthdays only. Between 11-13 months.

 

Can I choose the theme?

You can choose from available set-ups via the link above.

 

What if my baby doesn’t like the cake?

That’s completely fine, every baby reacts differently, and we always capture beautiful images regardless.

 

What if my baby isn’t confident?

Some little ones can be shy in new places or with new people and a Cake Smash may be too much pressure for them. A better alternative is booking a Portrait session and this means they can get photos with parents and feel more comfortable. This session can include use of some cake smash props such as one letters and a wooden cake so they can still have those special first birthday memories.

 

When should I book?

Wait until your baby has been on solid foods for a couple of months. If they enjoy their food and like getting messy then its a good time to get in touch to book their session for around the time of their birthday.

 

How do I receive my digital images?

Turn around time for receiving your images will be within 2-3 weeks after your session. These will be sent to you via a download link with instructions

on how best to download them. I do not offer a prints service but I can happily recommend websites to have them printed.

 

Where is the session held?

All sessions are held in my cosy studio based in Broxburn, West Lothian with private parking and on street parking.
