About Me

Hey, I’m Kat - the photographer behind Kat Moffat Photography, based in Broxburn, West Lothian. I specialise in newborn, sitter, cake smash, and small family sessions, capturing those fleeting stages you never want to forget.
 

My photography journey began in 2013, but it truly became my passion when I had my first daughter. I’m now a proud mum of two girls, and our home (and studio!) is filled with their photographs. As a parent, I understand just how quickly the years pass and how fast little ones change. That’s why it means so much to me to create beautiful, timeless images for your family - photographs that will be treasured for a lifetime.
 

I’m easy-going, friendly, and all about making sure you feel completely relaxed during your session. I love having a good chat and getting to know the families who walk through my studio doors. It’s been such an honour to see so many clients return year after year - watching their babies grow, welcoming new siblings, and capturing each new chapter.
 

Many of those clients I now proudly call friends. For me, this is so much more than just a job — it’s a privilege to tell your family’s story.
